Ladyfest is a new Toronto but Montreal-born festival celebrating femme and non-binary folks, comedy, and everyone celebrating ladies! This festival features stand-up comedy, sketch comedy, variety shows, drag, album tapings, and more. We are in place to celebrate and support female performers and woman-centered comedy.

We want to create opportunities and strengthen the comedy community in Toronto as a whole and highlight the hilarious and talented women, gender non-conforming, and queer comedians taking the stage across the city. Ladyfest Montreal started in 2016 and returned this year after a couple of years of hiatus during the pandemic. We believe it came back because there is a need for Comedy of all forms that centre the experience of women, GNC, and Queer comedians. This need is not going anywhere as more people who have been marginalized are finding their voice and their communities. In our opinion, we’ve partnered with some of the city's best Associate Producers to showcase this top of the talent pool!
